Welcome to 1st grade!! 2010-2011All about me! This will be my 6th year of teaching. I have taught 1st grade for 3 years at South Elementary and 2nd grade for 2 years in Glenwood Springs. I especially love watching 1st graders grow everyday! 1st graders get so very excited about reading and discovering new books to read. I love to read and I do it every day. I like to read funny books, news on the internet, and biographies. Aside from reading, I also love to do anything outside like snowboarding, snowshoeing, baseball games, golfing and hiking. I have 2 dogs, Huck a golden retriever and Kona a chocolate lab. They keep me super busy! I am a big traveler. I have been to 11 different countries! My dream is to spend a month traveling and skiing around South America. My parents live in Singapore and I get to visit them often. This summer I spent a month playing and traveling around Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia! I also like to knit, watch movies, kickbox, go shopping, drink Starbucks Chai Tea and spend time with my younger brother, Andrew. I grew up in New York so of course I love the Yankees! I graduated with a BA in Psychology and Elementary Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder. GOOOO BUFFS!! I look forward to having a fun year of growing and learning!!
